Amalgamation|Escapism Vol. II Dance Concert

Amalgamation|Escapism Vol. II: A Dance Concert Experience

The rhythm returns. The movement evolves. The story deepens.

Back by overwhelming demand, Amalgamation|Escapism Vol. II emerges from the resounding success of its debut with two powerful showings that promise to leave audiences breathless. What began as a one-night-only experience has become a full-on movement that transcends the stage and reaches deep into the soul.

This is more than a concert. It is an invitation.

An invitation to witness what happens when unity is woven through every count of eight. An invitation to escape—if only for a moment—into a world shaped by rhythm, emotion, and ancestral memory.

With numbers choreographed by International Master Choreographer and Researcher, G. Xavia Bernard Jackson, Consulting Director of Dance Teams at Stillman College, this electrifying showcase features a bold blend of Afro-contemporary, jazz, and modern dance. Each piece is performed by students who are storytellers in motion and members of the internationally acclaimed Golden Perfection Dance Team.

This year’s concert includes a highly anticipated restaging of the contemporary ballet Mind, Body & Soul, originally choreographed by Mr. Jackson following the team’s triumphant return from their 2022 London concert. This unforgettable piece pulses with a spiritual, captivating depth and embodied expression.

Whether you come seeking meaning or movement, this concert meets you at the crossroads:

Amalgamation—the merging of strength, identity, and purpose.

Escapism—the moment you lose yourself to something greater than imagination.

Showtimes:
